VCCI opens business training course for teachers of vocational schools in Dong Nai

(ĐN) – This is the first time that Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in association with Dong Nai’s business training company have organized a training course for teachers of vocational schools on starting business operations.

(ĐN) – This is the first time that Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in association with Dong Nai’s business training company have organized a training course for teachers of vocational schools on starting business operations. About 28 people who are teachers of vocational schools from the provincial districts and some entrepreneurs and officials of Provincial Department of Industry have attended this training course. It is the ILO’s “Start and Improve Your Business” (SIYB) programme aiming at stimulating small-scale entrepreneurship development in Vietnam.

Over the past eight years since it started in Viet Nam in 1998, the programme has contributed to developing small- and medium-sized enterprises in the country. The programme is highly valued for its contributions to Viet Nams poverty reduction and economic development. Some 22,000 entrepreneurs, 800 trainers and 300 organizations throughout the country have benefited from the programme over the past eight years.
