(ĐN)- Despite difficulties facing the industry, the gross industrial output value of Dong Nai province saw fast growth in the first half this year. The province’s total industrial output value reached VND 23,500 billion in the first half 2006, up 17.9 per cent from the previous year. Especially, foreign-invested enterprises registered the highest production value of exceeding VND 15,701 billion, a 19.5 per cent increase over the same period last year, and was followed by the central state-owned enterprises of VND 3,363 billion, up 13.2 per cent, the non-state enterprises of exceeding VND 3,238 billion, jumping 22.6 per cent, the local state-owned enterprises of over VND 1,196 billion, rising 1.14 per cent.
