Vietnam’s Export turnover of aquatic product grows 14.7% in past ten months

According to figures revealed by Ministry of Aquiculture, Vietnam’s aquatic product export earnings in the past ten months reached nearly US$2.2 billion, increased by 14.7% over the same period last year. Also, total aquatic product output recorded at 2.9 million tonnes. In October, only 80% of total number of ships goes out to sea. This refers to the impacts of oil price increase during the past time. Thanks to solutions from Ministry of Aquiculture, domestic catching output in first ten months hit 1.5 million tonnes, an increase of nearly 2% compared to the same period.
