Nearly 16,000 social housing units under construction in Dong Nai

According to the Dong Nai Department of Construction, as of the end of October 2026, a total of 22 social housing projects comprising nearly 16,000 apartments were under construction citywide.

In 2026 alone, Dong Nai City broke ground on 13 new social housing projects comprising nearly 12,000 units. So far, more than 1,500 units have been completed, and that figure is expected to exceed 3,000 by the end of the year.

Demand for social housing across the city is currently estimated at 150,000–160,000 units, with workers employed in industrial parks and clusters accounting for about 70% of the total. Areas with high demand for low-income housing include the former administrative areas of Bien Hoa, Nhon Trach and Long Thanh.
