In late August 2026, the Dong Nai City People's Committee issued Decision No. 2292/QD-UBND to update and adjust the growth scenario for the final six months of 2026, aiming to achieve annual gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth of 11%.
Under the new scenario, GRDP growth is targeted at 11.53% in the third quarter and 12.52% in the fourth quarter, bringing the growth rate for the final six months of the year to 12.05%. The industrial and construction sector targets a growth of 12.26%. Specifically, the industrial sector targets a growth of 12.02%, while the processing and manufacturing industry aims for 12.98%.
To achieve these targets, the city is focusing on removing difficulties facing businesses and creating favorable conditions for them to maintain and expand production and business operations. It is also promoting investment, accelerating project progress, and improving the operational efficiency of industrial parks and economic zones. At the same time, priority is being given to attracting projects featuring advanced technology and high added value in line with sustainable development orientations.
Alongside efforts to promote production, the city continues to focus on employment, income, and workers' living standards by connecting labor supply and demand, providing vocational training to improve skills, and implementing workforce support policies.
According to the Dong Nai Industrial Parks and Economic Zones Authority, the agency will continue coordinating with departments, sectors, and localities to support investors and businesses in addressing obstacles and accelerating project progress, thereby contributing to the goal of achieving 11% GRDP growth in 2026.
