The Organizing Committee of the 21st Children’s Football Tournament – Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television – C.P. Vietnam Cup 2026 has announced the schedule for the tournament's final round.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament’s final round will be held at the City Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium (Facility 1, Tan Trieu Ward), from August 6 to 9. The opening ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon of August 6, while the closing ceremony is expected to be held on the afternoon of August 9.

A press conference to announce the final round will take place on the afternoon of August 5 at the headquarters of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, located at No. 81 Dong Khoi Street, Tam Hiep Ward, Dong Nai City.

The qualifying stage, held from June 19 to July 5, brought together 40 teams representing wards and communes across the city, competing in eight competition clusters. At the conclusion of the qualifying stage, the top 16 teams – the first- and second-place finishers from each of the eight clusters – secured places in the final round.

The 16 qualified teams have been drawn into four groups:

Group A: Bien Hoa, Binh Minh, Xuan Lap and Xuan Hoa.

Group B: Tan Trieu, Trang Bom, Cam My and Xuan Loc.

Group C: Tan Phu, Long Thanh, Phuoc Long and Binh Phuoc.

Group D: Gia Kiem, Long Binh, Phuoc Binh and Dong Xoai.

The teams will compete in a round-robin format to determine the group standings. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, which will be played under a knockout format. The four quarterfinal winners will progress to the semifinals, followed by the final. The two losing semifinalists will jointly finish in third place, while the two semifinal winners will compete for the championship trophy.

According to the schedule announced by the Organizing Committee, U11 Bien Hoa and U11 Binh Minh will face each other in the tournament's opening match at the Dong Nai City Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium (Facility 1, Tan Trieu Ward), immediately after the opening ceremony on the afternoon of August 6. The U11 group-stage matches will take place on August 6 and 7, followed by the quarterfinals on August 8. The two semifinals are scheduled for the morning of August 9, while the final will be held that afternoon.

The 21st Children’s Football Tournament – Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television – C.P. Vietnam Cup 2026 is organized by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The tournament also receives support from numerous businesses both inside and outside the city, particularly its principal sponsor, C.P. Vietnam Corporation.
