A representative of the Management Board of the Chua Chan Mountain National Scenic Site (Chua Chan Mountain, Xuan Loc Commune, Dong Nai Province) said that by the end of the second day of the Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse 2026 (February 18), Chua Chan Mountain had attracted nearly 10,000 residents and visitors from inside and outside the province for spring outings and to pray for peace at Gia Lao Pagoda at the beginning of the new year.

Chua Chan Mountain is dubbed the “Second Heavenly Mountain” in the Southeast region, after Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh Province. It is also known as Gia Ray Mountain or Gia Lao Mountain. For decades, it has been a destination for forest ecotourism paired with spiritual tourism, drawing tens of thousands of visitors at the start of each New Year.

To promote the values and advantages of Chua Chan Mountain, in recent years, Dong Nai Province has planned and developed the area into a leading tourist destination at both national and international levels.

In April 2025, the Chua Chan Mountain Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Project was officially launched. The project aims to invest in the construction of commercial and service facilities, including resort villas, entertainment services, accommodation, and hotels; tourist transport systems such as cable cars and mountain railways; combined with parks and green spaces, and synchronized technical infrastructure to capitalize on the climate and ecological landscape characteristics of Chua Chan Mountain.
