Food safety management has been significantly strengthened. The province currently has 1,437 agricultural production and processing establishments, 1,070 of which meet food safety standards, while 84 have obtained advanced certifications such as VietGAP, HACCP, and ISO.
The province has promoted various mechanisms and policies to support and encourage production and consumption through linked value chains, covering stages from production and preliminary processing to processing and distribution. These efforts aim to improve traceability and ensure safe food supply chains serving markets both inside and outside the province.
