350 Tet gifts for disadvantaged residents in Tran Bien and Tan Trieu wards

On February 10, a working delegation from the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (PPC), led by Member of the PPC and Deputy Head of the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Le Thi Thai, coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha visited Tran Bien and Tan Trieu wards. The delegation organized the “Zero-VND Market – Spring of Compassion in the Year of the Horse 2026” program to care for poor and disadvantaged households.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee distributed 200 gift packages to people in difficult circumstances at Tinh Hoi Pagoda (Tran Bien Ward) and 150 packages at Duc Quang Pagoda (Tan Trieu Ward). Each package included essential items for daily use during Tet, helping ease the burden on poor and near-poor households and vulnerable groups in the local area.

Speaking at the event, Member of the PPC and Deputy Head of the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Le Thi Thai emphasized that the “Zero-VND Market – Spring of Compassion in the Year of the Horse 2026” is one of the practical social security activities, demonstrating the concern of all levels, sectors, and religious organizations in caring for the people, especially vulnerable groups. The program contributes to spreading the spirit of sharing and mutual affection within the community, so that everyone and every household can celebrate the traditional Tet in a warm and compassionate atmosphere.
