On the afternoon of January 23, at Mien Dong College (Binh Phuoc Ward, Dong Nai Province), the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union, in coordination with the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, organized the 2026 “Trade Union Tet Market” program. This initiative is one of the key and meaningful activities in a series of Tet-care programs for workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

Tran Nhu Hung, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Huynh Thi Cam Hong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union; Nguyen The Huu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union and Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; Nguyen Minh Thong, Member of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Secretary of the Youth Union of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; together with leaders of companies and trade unions of affiliated units in the Southeast region, attend the program.

With the message “Sharing Love, Welcoming A Warm Spring”, the Trade Union Tet Market is a profoundly humane and meaningful annual activity that reflects the Trade Union organization's and the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group's care and responsibility toward union members and workers.

Especially during the Binh Ngo Spring this year, the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union and trade unions at all levels have organized many forms of Tet care for union members and workers, such as: Tet reunion programs, the Trade Union Tet Market, visits and gift-giving to extend Tet greetings to union members and workers, providing train and bus tickets, and organizing year-end Trade Union meals.

At the “Trade Union Tet Market” program, 420 union members and workers in difficult circumstances from 12 units across the Southeast region received meaningful gifts, including cash of 1 million VND and shopping vouchers worth 500,000 VND. In addition, union members and workers also participated in a lucky draw with many valuable prizes.

This year’s Trade Union Tet Market was organized on a scale of three booths, introducing more than 200 products, goods, and essential services to serve Tet consumption needs at preferential prices, along with entertainment activities and traditional folk games, creating a joyful and warm atmosphere for union members and workers.

Huynh Thi Cam Hong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union, affirmed: This is not merely a market session but a space for sharing and spreading affection and care from employers toward union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, with the wish that everyone and every household can enjoy Tet. Through each gift and each shopping voucher, the Rubber Trade Union hopes to bring workers a warm and joyful Tet reunion, thereby further strengthening the bond between enterprises and workers.
