On the afternoon of January 28, Le Truong Son, Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a meeting with provincial departments, agencies and sectors to discuss preparations for welcoming delegations from provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia. These delegations are expected to visit Dong Nai in early February 2026 to extend Tet (Lunar New Year) greetings on the occasion of the Year of the Horse 2026.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Huynh Thi Be Nam, presented the proposed program for receiving the Cambodian delegations. According to the proposed schedule, the anticipated order of delegations visiting Dong Nai to extend Tet greetings is as follows: Kampong Thom, Kratie, Mondulkiri, Tbong Khmum, Kampong Cham, and Stung Treng.

The planned program features cultural and artistic performances, screenings of documentary films highlighting cooperative relations between Dong Nai and Cambodian provinces, welcoming remarks by provincial leaders, and New Year greetings delivered by representatives of the visiting Cambodian delegations.

After listening to comments and suggestions from representatives of provincial departments and agencies at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son requested all relevant units to focus on reviewing and making thorough, careful preparations to ensure the reception takes place as scheduled, in a solemn manner, demonstrating respect, hospitality and compliance with diplomatic protocol.
