On January 21, a working delegation from the Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade conducted surveys and working sessions with several localities and enterprises on preparations of goods for the upcoming Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
The delegation included Dang Tran Nhat Thoai, Deputy Head of the Trade Management Division of the Department of Industry and Trade; Vu Manh Tien, Deputy Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council; along with representatives of the Dong Nai Market Surveillance Sub-department.

Accordingly, the delegation held working sessions and conducted surveys on the preparation of Tet goods with the People’s Committees of Long Hung and Tran Bien wards, as well as with C.P. Vietnam Livestock JSC and Petrolimex Dong Nai One-Member Limited Liability Company. Discussions focused on preparing goods for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, compliance with price listing requirements, and market stabilization measures during the Tet holiday.

At the working sessions, representatives of local authorities and businesses affirmed that they would proactively plan for the supply of essential goods, implement measures to ensure adequate stock for the peak period ahead of Tet, and prepare personnel arrangements and regulations on goods flow as needed during the upcoming Tet holiday.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Dang Tran Nhat Thoai, Deputy Head of the Trade Management Division under the Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, shared that the Department of Industry and Trade acknowledges the proposals and recommendations from localities and businesses regarding the preparation and balancing of supply and demand for essential goods during the upcoming Tet holiday. The Department calls on production and business units participating in the supply of essential goods during Tet to proactively secure supply sources, stabilize prices, and promptly regulate the market when necessary.
Local authorities were urged to review and develop plans for distributing goods to retail points in the event of price fluctuations or supply shortages, as well as to ensure staffing arrangements, fire prevention and control measures, and customer parking management at retail locations during Tet.
