According to the plan, Lac Hong University will provide free bus services to support 412 students in returning safely to their hometowns for the Tet holiday. Students participating in the program who do not travel on the university-organized buses will receive financial assistance of up to 1 million VND. Following the gala event, starting from January 26, the university will arrange buses to take students home for the Lunar New Year. Most of the beneficiaries are students from the Central region, the Central Highlands, and northern provinces.

This occasion marks the seventh consecutive year that Lac Hong University has organized the “Bringing Tet Home” program. More than a means of transportation, each Tet journey represents meaningful support and reflects the university’s commitment to caring for students’ spiritual well-being, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds or living far from their families. Over the past seven years, the program has assisted more than 3,500 students on their trips home for Tet, helping them celebrate the Lunar New Year safely and thoroughly, with total expenditures exceeding 3 billion VND.
