During the inspection at the Tran Bien Ward Central Axis Road Project (formerly the Bien Hoa City Central Axis Road Project), representatives of the contractor said that in recent days, the construction site has been operating in “three shifts with four crews” to accelerate progress. Work has focused on the main route connecting Thong Nhat Bridge to Dang Van Tron Street (the An Hao Bridge intersection area). For Thong Nhat Bridge in particular, the contractor is scheduled to complete asphalt paving of the bridge deck on January 28. To date, the overall construction volume of the entire project, which spans 5.4 kilometers connecting Vo Thi Sau Street to two intersections on Dang Van Tron Street, has reached nearly 80%.

At the inspection, Ho Van Nam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Tran Bien Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tran Bien ward, highly commended the efforts of the project investor, the provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, and the contractor for focusing on solutions to accelerate the project’s construction progress in recent days.

“This is a key transport infrastructure project of the province, with a total investment of more than 1.5 trillion VND. The project holds special significance as it has been selected by the province for a technical opening to traffic on the occasion of the upcoming 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, while also celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party. In addition, the project is of great importance in creating new space for urban development in the central area of Dong Nai province, in general, and Tran Bien ward, in particular. Therefore, it is recommended that the provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board continue urging the contractor to mobilize additional machinery, vehicles, and human resources to ensure synchronized implementation of all project components,” Ho Van Nam emphasized.

On the same day, Ho Van Nam also inspected site clearance work for the Cai Riverside Road Project (the section passing through Tran Bien ward). Following the inspection, the Secretary of the Tran Bien Ward Party Committee noted that progress on site clearance remained relatively slow. Meanwhile, provincial leaders have also selected this project to break ground on the upcoming February 3 anniversary.

Therefore, Ho Van Nam requested that the ward People’s Committee continue to closely coordinate with the provincial Land Fund Development Center to focus on resolving and handling procedures and dossiers for remaining problematic cases, while soon implementing solutions to arrange resettlement for eligible households to be allocated resettlement land, thereby increasing the supply of cleared land to serve upcoming construction works. In the immediate term, areas where site clearance has already been completed should be leveled and cleaned to create a clean and beautiful space for the Lunar New Year in the ward.
