Completion of 6 state management agency headquarters at Long Thanh Airport

In a report on the implementation of Phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport Investment and Construction Project submitted to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers (mid-January 2026), the Ministry of Construction stated that to date, 6 headquarters buildings of state management agencies under Component Project 1 have been completed.

Among these, the headquarters of the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance) has completed construction, as well as procedures for fire prevention and fighting acceptance, and completion acceptance. The remaining five buildings are currently undergoing fire prevention and fighting acceptance, and completion acceptance.

Specifically, for the headquarters of the Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security), the Dong Nai Provincial Police (Dong Nai Province), Animal Quarantine (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), and Plant Quarantine (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), the investor is organizing the implementation of fire prevention and fighting acceptance and completion acceptance procedures, which are expected to be completed in January 2026. As for the headquarters of the Southern Airports Authority (Ministry of Construction), fire prevention and fighting acceptance, as well as completion acceptance, are expected to be completed in February 2026.

Component Project 1, which includes the headquarters buildings of state management agencies, is one of four component projects of Phase 1 of the Long Thanh Airport Project. Under the decision approving the investment policy for Phase 1 of the Long Thanh Airport Project, Component Project 1 was assigned to the relevant state management agencies to arrange funding for implementation.
