Accordingly, after considering the report of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the Ministry of Construction to continue regularly inspecting and directing investors and relevant governing agencies in the implementation of the project to ensure the completion progress according to plan. The Ministry was asked to promptly report to the Prime Minister the implementation results, difficulties, obstacles, and solutions to resolve them.
The People's Committee of Dong Nai Province shall urgently complete the appraisal of the basic design of the fuel pipeline and works under Component Project 4 to early launch construction to ensure completion and synchronized operation in June 2026. In case difficulties or obstacles arise, it’s necessary to promptly report to the Ministry of Construction for support, guidance, and resolution.
The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) shall regularly organize inspections and reviews of construction progress, adjust and update the progress weekly for each item and bidding package under Component Project 3. ACV was requested to direct contractors to strengthen human resources, equipment, proactively gather sources of materials, supplies, and financial resources..., organize construction in “3 shifts, 4 crews”, working on weekends and holidays for completion according to the committed schedule, especially for bidding packages with large remaining volumes and risks of falling behind schedule, such as package 4.8 (internal airport traffic and technical infrastructure) and package 5.10 (passenger terminal). Simultaneously, ACV shall urgently organize the preparation of the feasibility study report for Phase 2 and procedures to adjust the functions of 4 cargo warehouses to deploy subsequent steps ensuring the progress as required.

ACV shall direct the investors of service works providing in-flight catering, ground commercial techniques, and hangar No. 1 to accelerate the implementation to ensure completion and synchronized operation in June 2026. ACV was assigned to urgently organize research to implement investment in the construction of hangar No. 2, cargo terminal No. 2, express cargo terminal, and 4 warehouses (No. 5 through No. 8) to meet the schedule according to the contract.
Previously, on January 15, the Ministry of Construction submitted a report to the Government on the implementation status of the Long Thanh Airport Project. Accordingly, many important items of the project are gradually reaching the finish line; however, to meet the completion schedule and put the project into commercial operation in June 2026, great effort from investors and contractors is still needed, especially in bidding packages with large construction volumes, namely packages 4.8 and 5.10 under Component Project 3.
