Closing ceremony of the 1st Xuan Loc Commune Chua Chan Mountain Cross-country and Mountain Climbing Open 2025

After an exciting competition session, the 1st Xuan Loc Commune Chua Chan Mountain Cross-country and Mountain Climbing Open (2025), organized by the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Xuan Loc Commune People’s Committee, concluded on December 7.

The competition attracted 1,200 athletes from 73 units representing communes, wards, agencies, schools, and the armed forces in Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City. It featured three divisions: the grassroots division within the commune, the inter-commune division, and the open division. Events included: men's 5km run and 2km mountain climb; women's 2km run and 2km mountain climb. Competition formats comprised individual, team (men and women), and overall categories.

At the conclusion of the competition, the organizers awarded first prize for men’s individual cross-country - mountain climbing in the open category of the southeastern provinces to Le Huu Loc, Dong Nai 1; women’s individual to Luu Thi Thanh Tinh, Dong Nai 1; first prize for men’s team to Dong Nai 1; first prize for women’s team to Ho Chi Minh City 1; and first prize overall to Dong Nai 1.

First prize for men’s individual cross-country and mountain climbing in the communes category belonged to Nguyen Ngoc Quy, Tri An commune; women’s individual to Truong Hong Uyen, Xuan Dong commune. First prize for the men’s team belonged to Tri An commune. First prize for the women’s team belonged to Phuoc Long ward, and first prize overall belonged to Phuoc Long ward.

The first prize for men's individual cross-country in the grassroots division within the commune was awarded to Nguyen Hoang Ngoc Thach from Xuan Tho High School. The women's individual first prize was awarded to Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien of Xuan Loc Runner Club. The first prize for men's individual cross-country – mountain climbing went to Hoang Anh Kiet from Xuan Loc High School, while the women's individual first prize was awarded to Cao Thi Kim Dung, also from Xuan Loc High School.

In the team events within the commune, the men's first prize was awarded to Xuan Loc Runner Club, the women's first prize to Xuan Tho High School, and the overall first prize was also given to Xuan Loc Runner Club.
