It also marks a new milestone for Vietnam’s agricultural sector on the global stage, which is now reaching beyond raw exports to deliver high-quality, value-added products that appeal to global consumers.

Established in 2019, OVFP has swiftly become a key production hub within Ofi's processed agricultural value chain in Vietnam. With internationally certified expertise in processing and packaging cashews, macadamias, peanuts, and related products, the factory meets the diverse demands of leading consumer brands and retail systems across the United States and Europe. In 2024 alone, OVFP produced millions of product packs across multiple categories, demonstrating its ability to scale up production and comply with global standards.

Innovation and automation: the foundation for making a difference

According to Nitin Bajaj, CEO of OVFP, the company’s success is built upon a strong commitment to innovation and automation, supported by Ofi's Global Innovation Centre.

“Our factory continuously invests in innovation to deliver new solutions and products tailored to the diverse needs of customers. With guidance from the Global Innovation Centre, OVFP is leading the way in developing new products that meet specific client requirements,” he shared.

Automation has helped the factory enhance efficiency, ensure quality control, and minimise errors. Certifications such as BRC, SMETA, BSCI, and Halal further affirm product reliability.

In Dong Nai, OVFP also stands out for its strict compliance with occupational safety standards and environmental protection measures, including wastewater treatment, emissions control, and waste recycling. In 2024, the factory earned several quality certifications from regulators and customers alike, covering environment, food safety, quality, and social responsibility—underscoring OVFP’s adherence to international operational standards.

These efforts have helped transform the OVFP factory into more than just a modern production facility — it is also a safe, friendly workplace where every employee is given the opportunity to grow and work in a secure environment. Collectively, they are building a reputation for OVFP as a hub of safe, high-value, and globally trusted food production, contributing to the setting of new benchmarks for Vietnam's agricultural processing industry.

Citizen entrepreneurship and the path to sustainable growth

Beyond its production excellence, OVFP is also recognised for its humane corporate culture and social responsibility, aligned with Ofi's global sustainability strategy, Choices for Change.

Within the factory, a dedicated on-site clinic provides medical care for employees during working hours. Regular health checks, nutrition training, and breast cancer awareness sessions are also organised for female workers. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, OVFP maintained stable operations, securing jobs and income for its workforce amid challenging times.

At the same time, OVFP has implemented a series of community development programs, offering over 350 million VND in scholarships to the children of company employees in 2024. The company has also run the charity initiative "Giving is Forever" to support orphanages and shelters, and partnered with educational institutions to equip students with practical skills and career opportunities.

The company also offers training courses to enhance employee skills, helping them secure stable employment and contribute to the improvement of the local workforce's quality.

With over two decades of experience in global food and agricultural processing, Nitin Bajaj has been part of Ofi's journey in Vietnam since its earliest days. From his first business trips to Dong Nai, known as the “green industrial hub” of the Southeastern region, he has witnessed OVFP’s evolution from blueprint to one of Ofi's largest and most advanced nut processing facilities.

For him, Dong Nai is not just a manufacturing base, but a “second home”—a place where the dedication of hundreds of Vietnamese engineers and workers reflects Ofi's philosophy of sustainable development: people as the foundation, innovation as the driving force, and community responsibility as the guiding principle.

OVFP was honoured among the Top 10 Outstanding FDI Enterprises in Vietnam in 2025. What does this recognition mean to you?

This title reflects collective effort, from production line workers and quality control specialists to managers and farming partners. Farmers, in particular, are at the heart of our story. This is not only a recognition of the quality and sustainability of products “Made in Vietnam” but also a reflection of the growing trust of international customers in the capability and reputation of Ofi Vietnam on the global agricultural map.

Following those achievements, what will OVFP focus on in the next phase of development?

OVFP remains committed to expanding its operations in Vietnam, strengthening production capacity and technology application. The company will continue working closely with local communities to create sustainable growth opportunities while aligning with Ofi's global sustainability initiatives, delivering long-term value for both employees and society.

As CEO, how do you assess OVFP’s workforce and workplace environment?

I firmly believe that people are the foundation of success. At OVFP, we do not simply create jobs; we create growth opportunities.

We invest in training, healthcare, skill development, and leadership development for all employees, especially women. When they feel safe, respected, and empowered, they bring positive energy to the entire system.

How do you view the journey of “bringing Vietnam’s value to the world”?

Ofi believes in Vietnam’s strength as a nation rich in agricultural potential, with hardworking and innovative people.

The OVFP factory is just a small piece of that larger picture. Each cashew, macadamia, or peanut product processed in Dong Nai using modern technology and a strong sense of responsibility reflects a positive image of Vietnam’s sustainable agriculture sector.

Thank you!
