On the morning of November 16, at Nguyen Du High School in Binh Phuoc ward, Giang Thi Phuong Hanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chair of the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc ward, represented provincial leadership in attending and delivering her speech at the ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of the school’s founding and the 43rd Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
The event brought together officials, teachers, and generations of students to reflect on the school’s three decades of growth and achievements and celebrate the contributions of Vietnamese teachers.

Nguyen Du High School traces its origins to Dong Xoai Semi-Public High School, established on November 13, 1995. At its inception, the school had just 12 staff members and over 130 students. In 2008, it was officially renamed Nguyen Du High School, marking a key milestone in its journey to becoming a respected institution in the local educational landscape.

Over the past 30 years, Nguyen Du High School has grown into a reputable educational institution. In 2018, it was recognised as meeting national standards for the 2018–2023 period. In 2023, the school achieved national standard level 1 for the 2023–2028 cycle and received level 2 accreditation for educational quality. In the 2024–2025 academic year, the school recorded a graduation rate of 99.81% and a promotion rate of 99.87%, with 55 students earning provincial academic awards. The school currently has 36 classes with over 1,500 students.

This 30-year journey reflects the dedication of multiple generations of teachers and the academic aspirations of students. The anniversary was made even more special with teacher Le Thi Linh Phuong receiving the Third-class Labour Order from the State President, alongside seven teachers awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister.
In her speech, Giang Thi Phuong Hanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chair of the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc ward, on behalf of the leadership of Dong Nai province, commended the school for its achievements over the past 30 years and expressed heartfelt gratitude to generations of teachers on the occasion of the 43rd Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20). She also urged the school to uphold its traditions, continue raising educational standards, prioritise Party-building within the school, and accelerate comprehensive digital transformation across all areas of its operations.
