The Department of Education and Training has maintained this practice for many years to promote thrift, combat wastefulness and superficiality, especially in the context of many localities focusing on overcoming the aftermath of storms and floods.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training has requested that high schools and affiliated units take the initiative in promoting and organizing activities to mark the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20) in a practical, effective manner, avoiding wastefulness and formality. The department encourages institutions not to hold welcoming ceremonies or receptions, nor to accept congratulatory flowers and gifts, so that time and resources can be focused on teaching and other educational activities within schools.
On this occasion, the leadership of the Dong Nai Department of Education and Training expressed sincere appreciation for the attention and goodwill of agencies, departments, branches, organizations, units, individuals, and the entire community. The department also hopes to continue receiving further support, care, and companionship from all sectors of society for the education sector of Dong Nai.
In response to the Department of Education and Training’s policy on practicing thrift and combating wastefulness in organizing activities to mark the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the boards of directors of many high schools across the province affirmed their commitment to strictly implementing the directive. To create a joyful and uplifting atmosphere for teachers, schools will organize informal gatherings for faculty to reflect on the noble traditions of Vietnamese educators and to promote the spirit of respect for teachers and the value of learning among students.
