As of October 31, all 24 ward- and commune-level Trade Unions in Dong Nai had thoroughly completed their congresses for the 2025–2030 term, a representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labour confirmed on the afternoon of November 3. The congresses were conducted on schedule and in full accordance with the procedures, content, and regulations outlined in the Charter of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.

The conferences were conducted with formality and democratic principles, creating a platform for union members and workers to contribute to the agenda. Delegates reviewed notable achievements, addressed shortcomings, and set locally-tailored goals and key tasks for the new term.

The successful conclusion of 24 grassroots conferences provides crucial momentum for the upcoming Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, which will subsequently inform the national 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. The process represents a concerted effort to strengthen the union and its role in the province's socio-economic development.

As of early July 2025, 24 out of 95 ward- and commune-level Trade Unions had been established across the province, overseeing 932 grassroots union chapters with more than 113,000 members. The establishment of Trade Unions at the ward and commune level marks an essential step in consolidating and streamlining the trade union apparatus, aiming to build a more efficient and effective organizational structure that meets the demands of the new development phase.
