According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai Province, over the past nine months, the VFF and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province have carried out numerous social welfare activities to support the poor, disadvantaged individuals, policy-beneficiary families, and underprivileged youth and children, with a total value exceeding 508 billion VND.
Notable activities include the provincial VFF Committee mobilizing resources to build 1,334 great solidarity houses worth 111.2 billion VND; raising 146.6 billion VND for the Fund for the Poor; encouraging public participation to contribute 17,908 workdays for road construction and community projects; and organizing 57 charity market sessions. The total value of these social welfare activities exceeded 400 billion VND.

The Provincial Women’s Union launched an emulation campaign to celebrate major national holidays and Party congresses at all levels. Through this campaign, it carried out 312 projects and initiatives worth over VND 5.9 billion; mobilized social resources to build 19 houses worth over 1.8 billion VND; implemented gratitude activities for people with meritorious service and policy beneficiaries with total funding of over VND 1.2 billion; awarded 50 scholarships to orphaned children worth VND 280 million, and presented 147 sets of Ao Dai to 107 disadvantaged female students.
The Provincial Confederation of Labor organized various programs to support trade union members and workers during the 2025 Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake), providing assistance to 77,594 Trade Union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 77.6 billion VND. During Workers’ Month 2025, it visited and gave gifts to 1,321 members and workers facing hardships, serious illnesses, or severe workplace accidents, with a total value of 1.2 billion VND. The Confederation also launched the “Trade Union Meal” Program at 115 grassroots unions, benefiting 190,581 workers.
The Provincial Veterans’ Association visited and gave gifts to 2,646 members and relatives who were sick or deceased, totalling over 2 billion VND; and additionally provided gifts to veteran members, poor households, and disadvantaged people during holidays and festivals, with a total value of nearly 5.6 billion VND.
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee presented over 15,000 gifts worth more than 5 billion VND to policy-beneficiary families, poor households, and disadvantaged children and youth; supported 55,237 vulnerable young people and awarded 7,571 scholarships worth 6.8 billion VND; organized over 125,000 volunteer activities and implemented 51 projects worth over VND 570 million; and assisted 162,000 people with administrative procedures.
In addition to the above-mentioned activities, the VFF and socio-political organizations at all levels have actively promoted and mobilized participation in the movement “Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.” As of September 2025, the province had built 1,576 new houses and repaired 383 houses for policy-beneficiary families, people with meritorious service, poor and near-poor households, and disadvantaged families, with a total value of nearly VND 122 billion.
