The first Party Executive Committee conference of Dong Nai provincial Party Agencies

On the morning of October 21, Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies, together with Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies, presided over the first meeting of the Party Executive Committee of the provincial Party Agencies for the 2025–2030 term.

At the conference, Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies, presented the draft report on the results of task implementation over the first nine months of 2025, along with the work program for the fourth quarter of 2025. The presentation highlighted key areas including leadership and direction in political tasks, national defense and security, Party building, and the management and guidance of mass organizations across the province.

Subsequently, the leadership of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies presided over the session to gather feedback from participants. They discussed the report on task implementation results over the first nine months of 2025 and the work program for the fourth quarter of 2025. Participants also reviewed draft documents regarding the Rules of Procedure of the Executive Committee, the full-term work program of the Executive Committee, and the full-term inspection and supervision plan of the Party Committee. In addition, the session covered the Rules of Procedure of the Party Committee’s Inspection Commission and the action plan for implementing the resolutions of the Party Congress of Party Agencies in the province for the 2025–2030 term.

In a spirit of responsibility and urgency, approximately 15 participants provided contributions to the reports and draft documents presented at the conference. The feedback focused on several key areas, highlighting the leadership and guidance of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee in organizing congresses for affiliated mass organizations. Participants also discussed strategies for Party member development and ways to expedite the transition of probationary members to full Party membership. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of enhancing training programs for newly admitted members.

The members of the Executive Committee called for strengthening Party leadership personnel at grassroots Party cells and completing the staffing of local Inspection Committees. They also emphasized the importance of enhancing leadership and guidance in the conduct of elections for People’s Councils at all levels. In addition, attention should be given to accelerating digital transformation in managing Party members, youth union members, association members, and grassroots Party cells. Efforts should also focus on promoting the use of the electronic Party Member Handbooks and integrating it into Party activities.

To meet the 2025 new Party member recruitment target, members of the Executive Committee recommended accelerating training courses for prospective Party members and strengthening the organization of thematic sessions. These sessions should focus on key areas such as studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, building “four-good” grassroots Party cells and Party committees, effectively implementing the work of internal political protection.

In addition, the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies should pay close attention to and provide guidance on political standard assessments to support the personnel planning and appointment. Emphasis should also be placed on social welfare work, establishing partnerships with communes near the border, and providing support to disadvantaged areas and party members in need.

In his closing remarks at the conference, Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies, highly praised the Executive Committee members for their sense of responsibility and for providing candid, dedicated, and constructive contributions. The remarks made during the conference will be reviewed, carefully considered, and incorporated into the draft documents by the Party Committee’s Standing Board for implementation shortly.

Outlining the activities for the fourth quarter, Bao proposed that agencies and units should review all 2025 targets and tasks. Any targets that are lagging or at risk of not being met must be addressed with decisive leadership and guidance to ensure completion. In the coming period, the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission will provide guidance to the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the evaluation of officials and heads of localities and units, incorporating many new elements. Several regulations will be specified in the evaluation process to align with the realities of Dong Nai Province in general and the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies in particular. Evaluations will be conducted regularly on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis to clearly determine the responsibilities of the leaders.

He called on all officials and Party members, particularly the leaders of agencies and units, to be fully prepared and act decisively to ensure the effective leadership, guidance, and implementation of their assigned responsibilities.

The leader of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies also stressed the importance of strengthening ideological education for officials and Party members. The focus should be on thoroughly implementing the resolutions of the provincial Party Congress and the first Congress of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies for the 2025–2030 term. Efforts should also be intensified to promote the 14th National Party Congress. Additionally, it is essential to counter and refute the false narratives of hostile forces, while sharing information from official channels and positive content to promote constructive values in society.

Regarding the development of new party members, he proposed that, in the coming period, the Organization Department of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies is tasked with reviewing and implementing effective measures for this work. Political theory training courses should be promptly organized, tailored to the activities of each grassroots Party cell and their specific political tasks. In addition, Party Committees should be urged to review, supervise, and guide the completion of personnel for the Inspection Committees at the grassroots Party level.

He placed special emphasis on the need to prioritize internal political protection. He stressed that political standard assessments should be conducted proactively and completed on schedule, ensuring that they do not affect the personnel planning and appointment in subordinate grassroots Party cells and committees. Throughout the verification process, assessments must be fair, objective, and rigorous, in full compliance with regulations, and must not negatively impact the political history of officials and Party members.

At the conference, the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies announced the provincial Party Standing Committee’s decisions appointing officials to the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies for the 2025–2030 term. The leader also presented flowers to express gratitude to the officials who will no longer serve as members of the Party Executive Committee of the provincial Party Agencies for the same term.
