In Binh Phuoc Ward, along Ly Thuong Kiet Street in the Phu Thanh neighborhood, a remarkable new feature has just been completed: a nearly 70-meter-long decorative installation entitled “Red Flag, Golden Star Space.” This marks the first time the locality has created a large-scale decorative route with a creative and engaging design, making a lasting impression on residents. The project was directly overseen by the local Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations, from concept and design to construction and decoration. With its bright, vibrant colors and harmonious composition, the installation has quickly become a popular attraction, drawing residents to visit, take photos, and capture memorable moments amidst the festive atmosphere celebrating the Congress. The work showcases the community’s active involvement and creativity, reflecting the pride, unity, and enthusiasm of the people as they participate in this significant political event, demonstrating their commitment to the spirit and success of the Congress.
Pham Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Ward Youth Union, shared: “The purpose of this project is to celebrate the Congress of the Binh Phuoc Ward Party Committee and to honor Party Congresses at all levels. We aim not only to create a decorative work marking the Congress but also to establish a meaningful destination that inspires national pride and fosters a spirit of patriotism among all residents.”
In Binh Phuoc Ward, another striking highlight is a vibrant mural project located at the rear gate of Tan Xuan Kindergarten in the Tan Tra neighborhood. Stretching nearly 60 meters, the wall was once a plain, weathered brick barrier, faded by time and dust, almost forgotten by local residents. Today, it has been completely revitalized by the creativity, talent, and youthful energy of local volunteers, transforming the site into a lively open-air gallery. The mural features a harmonious blend of bright colors and carefully painted images from scenes of lush nature and playful children to inspiring public slogans and environmental protection messages. Every brushstroke reflects both artistic dedication and the enthusiasm of the young people who worked tirelessly to bring the project to life. This initiative goes beyond beautification. What was once an overlooked corner of the neighborhood is now a clean and inviting community space that functions as part art park and part cultural hub. Residents can enjoy evening walks, children can play safely nearby, and young people flock to capture photos and memorable moments. The project has quickly become not only a local attraction but also a symbol of civic pride, creativity, and collective effort, inspiring a stronger sense of community spirit in the ward.
Phi Quang Hai, a Youth Union member from Binh Phuoc Ward who was directly involved in the project, said: “The murals are designed to encourage environmental protection and foster a cleaner, greener community, while also contributing to the vision of a modern and livable city. Through this initiative, we want to demonstrate our patriotism and the dynamism of young people in welcoming the Party Congress”.
In Binh Long Ward, a row of once-faded walls at the junction of Pham Ngoc Thach and Nguyen Trai streets has been refreshed with vibrant murals, created by local youth as part of a community project. The project was completed within a week by nearly 20 students from the fine arts and painting clubs of Binh Long High School for the Gifted, who worked together to transform the walls. To meet the deadline and hand over the project in time for major national events, the young artists worked tirelessly from early morning until late afternoon. There were days when the brushes kept moving long after midday had arrived. Little by little, the dull gray walls gave way to vibrant depictions of Vietnam’s celebrated landmarks. It was a portrait of a homeland both familiar and new with its enduring beauty retold through the modern, expressive language of art, rich with emotion and youthful pride.
“The project was met with tremendous excitement from our young members,” said Thi Tuyet Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Binh Long Ward Youth Union. “Even under the scorching sun, they worked with discipline and dedication. This mural is not only an artistic creation but also a heartfelt tribute to the Party Congress.”
Nguyen Gia Huy, one of the young volunteers, remarked: “This wall was once plain and unnoticed. Today, it attracts visitors who stop to admire and take photos. We take pride in knowing that, even in a modest way, we have helped give this street corner a renewed identity and a brighter image for our community.”
The 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term marks a key moment for the province to review past achievements and outline new priorities. Beyond its role as an important political gathering, the congress is seen as a symbol of confidence in a brighter future. There was broad confidence that the gathering would achieve a successful outcome, ushering in a new and promising chapter for Dong Nai’s development while strengthening public trust in the province’s long-term vision.
In the heart of Dong Nai province, Tran Hung Dao Secondary School in Tran Bien Ward has become a source of delight for teachers and students alike. In recent days, they have expressed excitement as colorful murals transformed the school’s once-faded walls into vibrant works of art. Under the theme “Every sky of the homeland is part of the nation’s sky,” the mural project was launched to celebrate the Tran Bien Ward Party Congress and the upcoming Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress. It was carried out jointly by Tran Bien Ward’s Youth Union and volunteers from Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts. The mural, measuring 7.2 meters wide and 4.9 meters tall, was completed in about two weeks with the support of 15 volunteer contributors. Though modest in design, the mural conveys intergenerational continuity and pride in Vietnam’s tradition of learning, symbolized by the Tran Bien Temple of Literature, an enduring cultural landmark in the south with a history spanning more than 300 years.
Vo Minh Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union at Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts, explained: “This mural carries a message that every corner of the homeland belongs to the sky of the nation. As Vietnamese, sharing the same soil, we are reminded that wherever we stand within this country, it is still part of our common home.”
Hope and confidence in the future
Beyond the artistic highlights, towns and wards across Dong Nai have taken on a more festive appearance in recent days, with streets, parks, and public offices adorned with flags, flowers, banners, and slogans creating a vibrant atmosphere in celebration of the upcoming Party Congress. Scarlet flags bearing the golden star flutter in the autumn breeze, while congress slogans line central streets, transforming the city into a vivid tableau at once solemn in its symbolism and vibrant with anticipation for the landmark political gathering. The display of Party and national flags, along with banners and slogans before, during, and after the congress, has fostered a lively atmosphere that resonates widely among officials, Party members, and the broader community.

Residents of Dong Nai place their hopes not only in the success of the congress but also in the leadership team - individuals of integrity, capability, and dedication - entrusted with the responsibility of guiding the province through a new stage of development.
Pham Ba Chau remarked: “Following the provincial merger, Dong Nai now has a team of capable young officials. I believe they will work in unity and fulfill the responsibilities entrusted by the Party with dedication and effectiveness.”
“Those entrusted by the Party and the people must fully shoulder their responsibilities,” said Bui Sy Cau, a Party member from Dak Lien Hamlet in Dak Nhau Commune. “I believe they should show even greater dedication and passion, working tirelessly to ensure the province continues on a path of growth and progress.”
“I hope this congress will elect leaders with the knowledge, vision, and practical experience needed to guide our community along the path defined by the Party and the State,” said Nguyen Van Dan, Head of Dak Lien Hamlet in Dak Nhau Commune. “In recent days, I have encouraged fellow villagers to tidy their homes, clear the streets, proudly display the national flag, and care for the flowers in front of their houses. Such simple acts, I believe, foster a cleaner, more welcoming environment while embodying our shared pride and anticipation for this significant provincial event”.
In Dong Nai, the city’s streets stand out not only for their festive appearance but also for the spirit of solidarity and civic pride. That collective energy is anchored in residents’ firm belief in the success of the 2025-2030 Provincial Party Congress.
Every project, mural, and decorated street carries meaning beyond aesthetics or investment. They serve as enduring symbols of collective trust and aspiration, embodying the community’s pride, unity, and determination to build a hopeful and prosperous future together. There is a shared aspiration for a brighter future under the Party’s leadership, particularly as the nation’s political system has recently adopted the two-tier local administration model, marking a new phase in governance and development. People look to the future with the hope that current progress will pave the way for a society defined by greater opportunity, collective prosperity, and lasting stability.
Backed by careful preparation and broad community support, Dong Nai Province’s first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is widely expected to conclude successfully. The congress is seen as a pivotal moment to launch a new phase of development, aligning provincial ambitions with the nation’s broader progress and reinforcing confidence in a shared path toward modernization and prosperity.
