The Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee aims to complete the key phases of compensation, land clearance, and land handover to the project’s investor by December 2025. This undertaking ensures the timely execution of construction works and the efficient disbursement of allocated public investment funds.

At the launch ceremony, Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, explained that the Western North-South Expressway Project, section Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh, spans nearly 129 kilometers, with over 100 kilometers passing through Dong Nai province. The project involves a total investment of over 25.5 trillion VND. It is a major national infrastructure project with strategic importance for socio-economic growth, national defense, and security, not only for Dong Nai Province but also for the larger Southern Key Economic Region and the Central Highlands.

Once finished, the expressway will create a new economic corridor, linking raw material zones with industrial parks, increasing trade and logistics, and enhancing the living conditions of local communities. Therefore, completing land clearance on time is a crucial political task and the foundation for the project's overall success.

To ensure the 90-day campaign delivers real results while achieving its set objectives, Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, urged all relevant departments and agencies to treat this as a top priority. He emphasized the need to uphold a strong sense of responsibility and ensure smooth coordination. Departments must implement a "green channel" system to promptly respond to local reports and resolve issues within 24 hours.

The Provincial Land Development Center is responsible for guiding its branches to collaborate closely with relevant units, thereby speeding up procedures while maintaining transparency and openness in compensation and support.

The Provincial Investment Project Management Board is to coordinate with relevant units to secure adequate funding for compensation activities. They must also work closely with contractors and mobilize maximum machinery and human resources to organize round-the-clock construction shifts ("3 shifts, 4 teams") as soon as the cleared land is available.

Leaders of communes and wards along the project route are encouraged to cooperate with mass organizations to improve communication and increase public understanding of the project’s importance, as well as the State’s policies and guidelines. They are advised to implement the proven “door-to-door” outreach method, which has been effectively used in the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway Project.

Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, expressed his hope that residents within the project area will demonstrate patriotism, support the policies of the Party and State, and cooperate closely to ensure the timely completion of the project, which will bring lasting benefits to the community.

“The Provincial People’s Committee is committed to directing relevant agencies to fully and promptly implement compensation and support policies in accordance with regulations, ensuring that the living conditions at the new residences will be equal to or better than those at the previous locations,” emphasized Vice Chairman Ho Van Ha.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee commended 15 exemplary households for their consensus and early handover of land.
