Dong Nai honors 43 outstanding agricultural products

In 2025, the southern province of Dong Nai recognized 43 products as outstanding agricultural products. These products are produced by rural enterprises and production facilities that demonstrate high quality, strong development potential, and compliance with economic, technical, and social criteria, while also possessing the capacity for large-scale production.

Notably, at this honoring ceremony, many products that recently received the national 5-star OCOP certificate in 2025 are showcased. Typical agricultural products have booths or participate in the 2025 Dong Nai Province Agricultural Achievement Exhibition. This occasion helps promote agricultural products and specialties to consumers within the province. Additionally, efforts have been made to promote the province's products to both domestic and international markets through digital platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and others.

Honoring 5-star OCOP products

Among the many products honored, those recently certified with the 2025 national 5-star OCOP certificate include: Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. (Phu Hoa commune) with three products: pure cocoa powder, 3-in-1 cocoa powder, and dark chocolate; Nga Bien Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd. (Xuan Hoa Commune) with a range of cashew products, including original roasted salted cashews, cheese–salted egg cashews, garlic–chili cashews, and original dry-roasted cashews; Tam Tam An Herbal Medicine Co., Ltd. (Hung Thinh commune) with Phuc Hung Long Essential and Phuc Hung Long Premium health supplements.

Nguyen Van Khon, Director of Tam Tam An Herbal Medicine Co., Ltd., shared that his company joined the OCOP (One Commune One Product) program in 2020 and earned 4-star OCOP status for 4 products in 2021. Since then, the company has invested in maintaining high-quality raw material areas, upgrading its machinery and equipment, and applying science and technology to production, while focusing on brand development. As a result, in 2025, the company achieved two national 5-star OCOP products. This certification gives them the confidence to further invest in our brand and to actively participate in trade fairs, networking, and promotional activities both domestically and internationally.

Sharing the same perspective, Le Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of Nga Bien Import-Export Co., Ltd., noted that the company’s market development journey began with humble motorcycle trips to local markets, where they knocked on the doors of individual shops in the hope of securing a foothold in the domestic market. The company is rooted in local raw material areas and works closely with farmers to help them transition to high-yield cashew varieties, ensuring both profitability and sustainability. Its products have clear origins tied to specific growing regions, reflecting a commitment to quality, transparency, and responsibility toward both farmers and consumers. Nga Bien remains steadfast in its mission to promote pride in the homeland’s agricultural specialties by delivering Dong Nai’s products to consumers both domestically and internationally.

Member of Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoang, praised the efforts and determination of local producers and OCOP enterprises. She commended their creativity and transition toward an agricultural economic mindset, urging them to continue upgrading their products to conquer both domestic and global markets, thereby realizing the vision: “Dong Nai agricultural products take flight.”

Promoting Dong Nai’s key agricultural products

Most of the agricultural products honored as outstanding in 2025 are signature specialties of Dong Nai Province. These include green mango from Xuan Loc, durian from Xuan Dinh, whole frozen durian from Xuan Dong Commune, Tan Trieu sweet pomelo, Tan Trieu green-skinned pomelo, durian from An Loc Ward, as well as fresh quail eggs and ready-to-eat quail egg products.

A vibrant variety of products is produced from the province’s key crops, including cashews, coffee, bananas, jackfruit, mango, mixed dried fruits, honey-roasted lotus seeds, cereal milk powder, and products derived from lingzhi mushrooms (Ganoderma lucidum).

The Binh Phuoc Ward branch of OHAL Trading and Services Co., Ltd. offers a range of notable agricultural products, including OHAL Lingzhi mushroom, OHAL Agarwood Lingzhi tea, and OHAL instant Lingzhi powder. Le Duy Khanh, Deputy Director of the company, stated: "For a long time, Lingzhi mushroom has been regarded as a 'panacea' in Eastern medicine, symbolizing health, longevity, and balance." The company’s products are not merely beverages but also cultural experiences imbued with spiritual value. Going beyond conventional Lingzhi mushroom production, OHAL has explored ways to blend traditional ingredients with modern processing technology, ensuring each product is not just a drink but a reflection of national cultural pride.

The recognition of Dong Nai’s outstanding agricultural products is not only a tribute to the achievements of hard work, but also serves as a driving force for continued production, brand development, and the affirmation of the province’s agricultural standing on the national economic map.
