On the morning of September 17, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Le Truong Son chaired a meeting to review outcomes and assign tasks for organizing Dong Nai’s first Patriotic Emulation Congress, for the 2025–2030 period.
This is an important event to assess the outcomes of patriotic emulation movements and commendation work during 2020–2025 period, while setting directions, tasks, and solutions for 2025–2030 period.

Reporting at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) Doan Thi Thu Thuy said the department, under the direction of the provincial People’s Committee, had taken the lead in coordinating with agencies, units, and localities to advise on drafting the plan for organizing the Dong Nai’s first Patriotic Emulation Congress, 2025–2030 term.
The department also advised on the establishment of the congress organizing committee, subcommittees, and prepared a plan for delegate allocation issued by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council.

Also according to Deputy Director of the DoHA Doan Thi Thu Thuy, the Congress is expected to gather about 500 delegates, representing exemplary collectives and individuals from patriotic emulation movements in the province over the past five years.
At the Congress, delegates will view video clips showcasing the results of emulation movements and commendation activities during 2020–2025 period, as well as orientations and tasks for 2025–2030 period. They will also hear presentations and exchange with exemplary collectives and individuals.
Dong Nai will also send 35 delegates to attend the National Patriotic Emulation Congress, including two guests and 33 official delegates.
On the sidelines of the congress, there will be exhibitions highlighting the province’s cultural, economic and social achievements during the 2020–2025 period, alongside honoring exemplary individuals and collectives recognized at the Congress. OCOP (One Commune – One Product) items, outstanding industrial and agricultural goods, and signature local products will also be showcased.
At the meeting, leaders of various units shared updates and proposed effective approaches to fulfill their assigned tasks. Among them, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRTV) Nguyen Thi Minh Nham suggested innovative ways to make the exchange program with exemplary role models and reportages on a 5-year implementation of patriotic emulation movements more engaging when presented at the congress.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Le Truong Son stressed that the first Patriotic Emulation Congress of Dong Nai province is a highly important mission. Especially following the first Provincial Party Congress, the event will further promote patriotic emulation movements, contributing significantly to the fulfillment of targets set in the Party Congress resolution.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Le Truong Son requested the DoHA, as the standing agency, to finalize all related documents based on feedback collected at the meeting and submit them to the provincial People’s Committee for signing and issuance to ensure timely implementation of subsequent steps.
Relevant agencies and units were urged to carry out their assigned work with both progress and quality guaranteed. Reports presented at the Congress must be concise and substantive, with greater application of information technology throughout the program. The exchange session with exemplary individuals should highlight the most outstanding examples tied to the launch of the province’s key missions to generate strong resonance.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Le Truong Son also emphasized that every smallest part of the program must be carefully calculated to ensure the Congress is conducted solemnly and seriously, creating a broad-reaching impact.
The first Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress will be broadcast live on all platforms of DNNRTV. The Congress is scheduled to take place in the first week of October, following the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
