Presenting gifts to disadvantaged soldiers on National Day (September 2)

On September 1, the Party Committee and Command of Division 309, Military Region 7, stationed in Dong Nai, organized the presentation of gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to officers and professional soldiers with difficult circumstances and critical illnesses, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

Authorized by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Colonel Vu Van Tam, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Division 309, chaired a meeting to present gifts and offer encouragement to soldiers facing extremely difficult circumstances and serious illnesses, urging them to persevere, overcome their health challenges, and celebrate National Day with joy and happiness.

Colonel Vu Van Tam affirmed that the distribution of gifts to soldiers facing extreme hardship or suffering from serious illnesses reflects the special attention of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense toward officers, professional soldiers, and personnel in difficult circumstances, both within the unit and across the armed forces, on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

He expressed hope that the soldiers would continue to overcome challenges, remain dedicated to their duties, and contribute to the successful and outstanding fulfillment of the unit’s mission.

On this occasion, the leaders of Division 309 presented 30 gifts (worth 1.85 million VND/gift, including gifts and cash) from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to 30 soldiers from units under Division 309.
