The Dong Nai Job Fair 2025, organized by the Dong Nai Employment Service Center at Mien Dong College (Binh Phuoc ward) last weekend, attracted 34 enterprises inside and outside the province with a demand for nearly 6 thousand workers.
In particular, the fair offered nearly 100 job openings in garment manufacturing, machine operation, and technical labor, attracting around 1,500 workers, students, and trainees who came to explore job opportunities and participate in on-site interviews. It was an opportunity for workers to find jobs suited to their skills and capabilities.
Increase welfare to attract workers
To ensure production capacity for year-end orders, Goodwood Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Becamex Industrial Park - Binh Phuoc, Chon Thanh ward, Dong Nai province) assigned personnel to participate in the Dong Nai Job Fair to recruit additional workers. The company sought to fill a wide range of positions, from unskilled labor to assembly technicians, statistical staff, warehouse staff, and interpreters. Among these, about 300 unskilled workers aged 18 to 40 were needed. The company offered a basic salary of 5.5 million VND per month, along with transportation, housing, and attendance allowances totaling 1.6 million VND per month.

Tran Ha Loan, general accountant at Goodwood Vietnam Co., Ltd., said the company currently has stable orders through the end of the year, resulting in a strong demand for labor to meet production needs. To attract workers, the company assists new hires in finding rental housing and provides a one-time support of 800 thousand VND during their first month. It also covers travel expenses for candidates coming in for interviews. In addition, the company offers referral bonuses for workers who introduce new recruits, a 13th-month salary bonus, seniority allowances, and technical labor bonuses ranging from 500 thousand to 6 million VND per person.
Vietnam Fortune Technology International Co., Ltd. (Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province) is also ramping up production to fulfill signed export orders and is continuously recruiting workers. At the Job Fair, the company sought to hire 200 to 300 unskilled garment workers, offering an average monthly income of 10 million VND (including basic salary, allowances, and overtime pay). In addition, the company provides diligence bonuses, a 5% increase in basic salary upon annual contract renewal, lunch allowances, and various other benefits.
Do Thi Ha, head of human resources at Vietnam Fortune Technology International Co., Ltd., said the company's orders have been rising sharply, leading to high labor demand. However, recruiting workers remains a major challenge. For employees, the company provides fuel support, Tet bonuses, and an additional month’s salary at year-end. “For those with long service, strong skills, and a diligent work ethic, monthly income can reach around 20 million VND. The company also organizes domestic and international tours. We hope that with a range of preferential policies, we will be able to recruit enough workers in the near future,” Ha said.
In addition to the industries mentioned above, the Job Fair featured recruitment across a wide range of production and business sectors, including textiles, furniture, agriculture, mechanics, food processing, transport, postal services, insurance, and overseas labor export. Several enterprises recruited workers for fixed-term contracts abroad in markets such as Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. As a result, workers had many options to find jobs that matched their skills and training.
Expand labor supply-demand connections
Vice Chairman of the Binh Phuoc ward People’s Committee Hoang Thuy Vu said there are nearly 2,000 enterprises operating inside and outside industrial parks within the ward, along with more than 600 enterprises in neighboring communes and wards such as Dong Xoai, Dong Phu, and Dong Tam. As a result, labor demand continues to rise to meet production and business needs. The Job Fair serves as an opportunity for enterprises to access and select high-quality human resources, while also providing a platform for workers, students, and pupils to receive career guidance and find jobs that align with their aspirations.
“Hopefully, through the Job Fair, many recruitment contracts will be signed and more job opportunities will be created, contributing to addressing employment, increasing income, and improving the livelihoods of workers in the area. This also serves as a foundation for Binh Phuoc ward to continue strengthening coordination with relevant units to further expand labor market connectivity and generate employment for local residents,” Hoang Thuy Vu emphasized.
According to the Dong Nai Employment Service Center, in 2025, the forecast demand for untrained, unskilled labor by enterprises is nearly 55,000 workers. This data presents a significant employment opportunity for workers both within and outside the province. At the Dong Nai Job Fair 2025, more than 1,500 workers receiving unemployment benefits in Binh Phuoc ward and other localities across the province, along with students and pupils seeking vocational training and employment, took part. As a result, over 1,000 people received job counseling, and nearly 400 workers are expected to be recruited.
“Following the implementation of the two-tier local administration model, job connectivity and workforce development need to be strengthened and innovated through various models to meet labor market supply and demand. This requires close coordination among units and sectors to build a high-quality workforce that can support the province’s socio-economic development,” said Mai Xuan Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, at the Dong Nai Job Fair 2025.
The center is enhancing the use of information technology in career counseling, sharing recruitment demands, and encouraging enterprises to participate in online job exchanges with other provinces to recruit workers and improve production efficiency. At the same time, it is generating QR codes to allow workers to submit applications online and access information on job openings, recruitment details, and starting salaries offered by enterprises. This undertaking helps workers participate more flexibly and access accurate, convenient, and timely employment information.
Mai Xuan Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, said Dong Nai is implementing six expressway projects along with numerous key initiatives under its development strategy. In addition, phase one of the Long Thanh Airport project entering operation will require a substantial workforce. In response, the Department of Home Affairs has directed the Dong Nai Employment Service Center to strengthen coordination with schools and workers through training, counseling, and career orientation programs to meet the labor demands of enterprises. At the same time, 95 job counseling and placement collaborators have been established in communes and wards to build a connection network and ensure that workers have access to employment opportunities.
