Today, September 29, the first working day of the first Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, took place at the Provincial Convention Center. This is an important political event for the entire provincial Party organization, and also marks a historical milestone since the merger of Binh Phuoc province and former Dong Nai province.

Ahead of the congress, a group of reporters from Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television recorded opinions of people from all walks of life in the province in anticipation of the event.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dau Giay commune PHAM DINH BAN: Dong Nai will continue to be a dynamic growth pole of the whole country.

The first Provincial Party Congress takes place in a special context, as Dong Nai steps into a new development space after the merger, opening many opportunities and great prospects. I place my full trust and expectations in the breakthrough areas set out in the congress draft documents.

My greatest wish is that the congress will decisively implement breakthroughs in: developing a green economy, high technology, building Dong Nai into the logistics - industrial center of the region; while also caring for social welfare so that workers, employees and the people truly benefit from the fruits of development.

I hope the congress will introduce special mechanisms and policies to encourage innovation, driving Dong Nai’s development while ensuring sustainability, environmental protection, and quality of life for future generations. Besides, economic development must go hand in hand with caring for people’s lives, especially workers, employees and vulnerable groups in society, ensuring everyone benefits from the province’s development achievements.

With a spirit of innovation, unity and aspiration to rise, I believe Dong Nai will continue to be a dynamic growth pole of the whole country, a place “worth living, worth visiting, worth investing in”, making an important contribution to the strong, prosperous development of our nation.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Rieng commune NGUYEN THI LAN ANH: The congress will usher in a new momentum, driving development worthy of the new era.

As an official of a locality in the province, I have great confidence in the goals, targets, breakthroughs and solutions put forward. At the same time, I believe the new Provincial Party Executive Committee will unite, breakthrough, be dedicated and visionary, close to the people, bold in thinking and acting, and willing to take responsibility in order to lead the province towards ever greater development, opening a new development space after the merger.

Among these, breakthroughs in science - technology development and digital transformation are identified as the development fulcrum in the new term. Therefore, the locality strongly hopes that the province will truly pay attention to investing in digital infrastructure, strengthening training and capacity-building for grassroots cadres to gradually improve the quality of human resources, meeting requirements in the new context. In doing so, these efforts will contribute to raising labor productivity, moving toward a service-oriented, modern and professional administration.

Captain PHAM THI HIEN, Command Board of Defense Zone 2 - Long Khanh: The congress is expected to implement many policies for the army and military rear.

We express our expectations for the success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term. I hope the decisions discussed at the congress will continue to promote socio-economic development in the province and ensure firm national defense and security.

As a soldier, I strongly hope the congress will propose many solutions to firmly protect the Fatherland in all situations. Among them, there should be good policies for the army and the military rear so that each officer and soldier can feel secure to carry out their duties.

MSc TRAN HANH, Head of Faculty of Medicine - Pharmacy - Basic Sciences, Dong Nai Medical College: Building Dong Nai to be rich, civilized, and modern.

In anticipation of the first Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, I place great trust and high expectations on new highlights and breakthroughs to drive economic development and improve people’s lives, especially as Dong Nai gains more resources and advantages after the merger of Binh Phuoc province and the former Dong Nai province.

I firmly believe that, with sound decisions to be discussed and adopted at the congress and with the joint efforts of the entire Party organization, authorities and people in the province in implementing the resolution, by 2030, Dong Nai will become a green, prosperous, civilized, modern province, a leading center for industry, logistics, services and high-tech agriculture in the country.

Teacher NGUYEN THANH HIEP, Hoa Binh Primary School, Ho Nai ward: Policies are needed to encourage young intellectuals’ contribution.

As a young intellectual living and working in Dong Nai province, I am very excited and proud to join the atmosphere welcoming the first Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term.

Representing young intellectuals, I expect the congress to set strategic decisions on science - technology development, digital transformation, improving the quality of young human resources, creating conditions for the young generation to study, innovate, start businesses and make contribution.

At the same time, I also hope for truly open policies that create motivation for young intellectuals to remain committed and make long-term contributions. Only then can the young intellectual force fully promote its role and creativity, making contributions to the development of the province and the country.

PHUNG THI PHUONG THAO, Member of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee: New policies are expected to drive comprehensive digital transformation.

As a young person, I always pay special attention to the first Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress. I expect the congress to introduce sound, timely decisions that create strong breakthroughs in socio-economic development, while continuing to build a clean, strong Party that meets the requirements of the new era.

In particular, with the aspiration and pioneering spirit of youth, I hope the congress will set new, suitable policies to drive comprehensive digital transformation. This is not only an inevitable trend but also an opportunity for the younger generation to have a favorable environment for start-ups, innovation and creativity. Once the policies are put into practice, young people will have more opportunities to bring into play their intelligence, talent and bravery, affirming their pioneering role in the digital era.

TRAN MA LUONG, resident of Song Ray commune: Decisions must aim at improving people’s lives.

Through following the news in newspapers and on radio and television, I have learned that this congress focuses on two main agenda items. The first content is about summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, for the 2020-2025 term (including the resolutions of the Party Congresses of Binh Phuoc province and  former Dong Nai province). At the same time, the congress will set out the orientations, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; and discussing contributions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

One of the people’s aspirations is that the congress will introduce solutions to improve people’s lives, from simplifying administrative procedures, improving transport infrastructure, to expanding job opportunities, enhancing the quality of education and healthcare, and ensuring social security policies…
