Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Le Truong Son emphasized: The provincial Party Committee’s resolution affirms environmental protection as one of the three pillars of development, closely linked to the goal of building a green, clean, and sustainable Dong Nai. The province aims that by 2030, 100% of household solid waste will be collected, with at least 70% recycled, reused, or processed for energy recovery; single-use plastic waste in urban areas and tourist zones will be reduced by 50% by 2025; and over 10 million new trees will be planted and cared for during the 2021-2030 period, contributing to an overall forest coverage rate exceeding 56%. By 2030, all industrial parks and clusters in the province must have wastewater treatment systems that meet standards before discharging the wastewater into the environment. These above figures are not merely targets but represent Dong Nai province’s strong commitment to its people, the nation, and the world.

Emphasizing that environmental protection is not solely the responsibility of any individual but rather the entire community, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son urged: “Every official and Party member should lead by example in classifying waste at source and reducing single-use plastics.  Each business should take the initiative in green production, clean technology innovation, and engage in the circular economic model. Every citizen should begin with small actions: keeping streets and rivers clean and planting an additional tree for life.”

In response to the 2025 “Clean up the world” campaign, Binh Phuoc ward adopted the action motto: “Joining hands for a green, clean, beautiful, civilized and modern environment.” This is not just a slogan; it has been realized through the coordinated participation of the entire political system, agencies, schools, businesses, neighborhoods, and all citizens. Today, the campaign’s message was strongly promoted through various dynamic activities, attracting around 2,000 participants, including officials, armed forces, Youth Union members, students, and local residents.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc ward Ngo Hong Khang stated that in response to the 2025 “Clean up the world” campaign, the ward has organized activities such as the “Running for the environment,” a program for collecting and exchanging waste for gifts, an online photo contest titled “Green, clean, and beautiful Binh Phuoc in every moment,” and, notably, a comprehensive environmental clean-up throughout the ward. Through these activities, residents are encouraged to start with simple, practical daily actions such as sorting waste at the source, reducing the use of non-biodegradable plastic bags, planting and caring for trees, and maintaining clean, green, and beautiful neighborhood landscapes.

Just in a brief period, the program gathered 1,165 kilograms of recyclable waste.
