Youth at the forefront of digital transformation

For nearly two months, groups of young volunteers, including many high school, college, and university students, have been guiding citizens through administrative procedures at public service centers across the province. Their active participation has made a strong positive impression, helping residents complete procedures more easily, especially online applications. At the same time, their support has helped ease the workload of officials operating under the two-tier local government model.

Alongside a wide range of other meaningful movements-such as participating in the Green Summer Campaign, forming charitable volunteer groups, and actively donating blood-the youth of Dong Nai have also been pioneers in digital transformation. Their efforts to support citizens in accessing public services have contributed to building an increasingly modern, transparent, and people-centered administrative system. These contributions embody the enduring spirit of Vietnamese youth: "Where there's a need, the youth are there; where there's a challenge, the youth rise." - a flame that continues to burn brightly, shaping the proud tradition of generations of young Vietnamese.

With their dynamism, creativity, and rapid adaptability to technology, young people are regarded as a pioneering and core force in the digital transformation journey. To fulfill this role, the younger generation must proactively engage in learning, mastering technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), and continuously updating their digital knowledge. They must also develop skills to safely and intelligently navigate digital platforms and social media, apply technology in their studies and work, and integrate it into startups and innovation efforts in the digital era.

Moreover, youth must act responsibly in the digital space and contribute to spreading positive values throughout the community.

To truly live up to their role as digital pioneers, each young person must be a frontline force in spreading positive information, actively preventing and combating harmful, toxic, and misleading content on social media, and serving as a "shield" against distorted narratives. At the same time, by leveraging their technological skills, young volunteers continue to assist citizens, especially elderly seniors, workers, and those in remote areas, in accessing online public services. They are also contributing innovative ideas and proposing solutions to digitize administrative procedures, helping ensure the effective operation of local governments at both levels.

With intellect, passion, and a spirit of dedication, young people across Vietnam are continuing to write a beautiful national story about initiative, leadership, and an enduring desire to contribute across all fields, especially in digital technology, to help foster the growth of digital citizens and support the development of digital governance in the future.
