Tan Trieu Ward expected to fulfill urban and sustainable development criteria

On the afternoon of August 11, the 1st Congress of Party Committee of Tan Trieu Ward, for the 2025–2030 term, successfully concluded. The congress was held over two days, between August 10 and 11, with the participation of 170 delegates representing more than 3,100 Party members in the entire ward Party Committee.

Tan Trieu ward was established by merging the entire area and population of Tan Phong ward, Bien Hoa city with three communes including Thanh Phu, Binh Loi, and Tan Binh - of former Vinh Cuu district. In the last tenure, Tan Trieu ward achieved significant accomplishments in Party building work and developing a clean, strong political system. The economic and cultural sectors have continued to promote, with annual budget revenue meeting and exceeding targets. Security, order, and social safety were maintained. Each year, the ward ensures to fulfill the conscription targets assigned by the province.

In his directive speech, comrade Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Agencies praised the achievements in Party building work, strengthening the political system, socio-economic development, and ensuring local security, order, and military-defense tasks. He supposed that the success of ward Party Committee in the last tenure were vivid proof of the unity spirit and determination in the leadership of Party Committee level and political system, along with the support of the people and business community in the area.

Comrade Thai Bao emphasized: “With its expanded space, in the 2025–2030 tenure, Tan Trieu ward will have many advantages and new opportunities, but also face many difficulties and challenges in its new development stage. Therefore, the ward Party Committee must continue to uphold the unity spirit and consensus throughout the entire Party Committee. Each Party member must firmly grasp the guidelines, stay close to reality, and effectively implement the goals and tasks set out by ward Party Committee. The war is expected to focus on developing new Party members, especially young, capable, dedicated, and responsible members, to enhance the Party Committee’s leadership capacity and combat strength.

Comrade Thai Bao said: “With status, space, and vision as a new ward, in the 2025–2030 tenure, Tan Trieu ward must strive to fulfill urban criteria. This is a central task of the tenure for the ward’s Party Committee and political system. Local implementation must strictly follow urban planning, ensure synchronized and efficient urban infrastructure management, and absolutely avoid breaking planning regulations.

As a densely populated ward, the Party Committee must strengthen residential area management, focus on developing social housing projects, building civilized boarding houses for workers. It should encourage diverse urban economic development to meet residents’ needs.

Comrade Thai Bao also cited: In this new development stage, the ward must mobilize, allocate, and use investment resources appropriately to achieve rapid and sustainable economic growth. The development orientation should focus on industry, services, high-tech agriculture, and eco-tourism as driving forces; promote innovation, digital transformation, and create favorable conditions for private economic growth.

Comrade Thai Bao noted that on its path of development, the ward must ensure good social welfare for residents, support workers living and working in the area, promote sustainable poverty reduction, and prioritize education and vocational training in association with local socio-economic development.

As a new ward with new development space, its communal-level government also operates under a new model. Therefore, Thai Bao asked the Party committee level to strengthen leadership and direction so that the ward’s apparatus quickly operates effectively, smoothly, and professionally.

On this occasion, comrade Thai Bao presented a banner from Provincial Party Executive Committee to the congress with the words: “Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development, building Tan Trieu Ward towards urban civilization.”
