U.9 Van Tam Dong Nai had a favorable start at the National U.9 Football Tournament - Toyota Cup 2025 with a resounding 4-1 victory over U.9 Binh Duong Football Federation in the opening match of Group F.

On the afternoon of August 13, in Tay Ninh province, the U.9 Van Tam Dong Nai team played against the Binh Duong Football Federation team in the latest match of the day in the qualifying round of Group F of the National U.9 Football Tournament - Toyota Cup 2025.

The young players of Van Tam Dong Nai entered the match confidently, creating an overwhelming game against the opponent Binh Duong Football Federation and taking a 2-0 lead in the first half. In the second half, Van Tam Dong Nai maintained the game and scored 2 more goals, while Binh Duong Football Federation got an honorary goal at the end of the match.

With a 4–1 victory over the Binh Duong Football Federation, Van Tam Dong Nai earned their first three points of this year’s tournament, thereby rising to the top of Group F with the same points as Phu Dong Ninh Binh but a better goal difference. Earlier, Phu Dong Ninh Binh had defeated Hong Linh Ha Tinh 2-1.

On the opening day of August 12, U.9 Khuyen Nong Binh Phuoc scored a resounding 6–0 victory over U.9 Nam Viet. In the other match, U.9 Cong An Ha Noi edged past U.9 Long An Tay Ninh with a narrow 1–0 win. With these results, U.9 Khuyen Nong Binh Phuoc temporarily moved to the top of Group A, level on three points with Cong An Ha Noi but ahead on goal difference.

On August 14, the National U.9 Football Tournament – Toyota Cup 2025 continued with the second round of matches.
