(ĐN)- Dong Nai Green Week 2025 was launched in Dinh Quan district on May 31 in celebration of World Environment Day (June 5). The event was attended by Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang of the provincial People's Committee.

In her speech, Vice Chairwoman emphasized this year’s theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution,” initiated by the United Nations Environment Programme. This marks the second time in three years that the theme has been selected, underscoring the urgent global priority of tackling plastic waste.
Over the past time, the province has issued and implemented projects to reduce plastic pollution. Authorities are calling on all sectors, organizations, businesses, and individuals to join efforts in raising awareness, minimizing single-use plastics, promoting recycling, and adopting environmentally friendly alternatives.
