Accordingly, DT.770B is classified as a Grade II road transport project. The project scale follows the master plan approved under Decision No. 169/QD-UBND dated January 16, 2026, issued by Dong Nai City People’s Committee. Under the final development phase, the route will have a planned right-of-way width of 60 meters with six to eight traffic lanes. Phase 1 investment will be implemented with six lanes. The project also includes the construction of bridges, intersections, drainage systems, lighting infrastructure, and traffic safety facilities in accordance with regulations.
During Phase 1, the roadbed width will be 45.5 meters, including a 27-meter-wide carriageway. The project will construct 13 bridges along the route, including an overpass crossing the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway. In addition, six major intersections will be built. Total investment for the project exceeds VND 4.6 trillion.
The DT.770B Road Construction Project has a total route length of nearly 43 kilometers, excluding 9.7 kilometers overlapping with the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4–Long Khanh section and 2.2 kilometers overlapping with the Xuan Duong–Thua Duc Road Project. The project will pass through nine communes and wards of Dong Nai City, including Xuan Bac, Gia Kiem, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Dau Giay, Binh Loc, and Xuan Lap. The project plays a strategic role in connecting Eastern and Northeastern communes and wards of Dong Nai City with Long Thanh International Airport, Xuan Que–Song Nhan Industrial Park, Bau Can–Tan Hiep Industrial Park, while also linking to the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway, National Highway 51, and the Cai Mep–Thi Vai port area in Ho Chi Minh City.
In early 2025, Dong Nai City People’s Committee approved the feasibility study report for the compensation, support, resettlement, and land clearance project serving DT.770B Road construction. This component project carries a total investment of more than VND 3.3 trillion sourced from the city budget, with the City Land Fund Development Center assigned as the project investor.
