Along with that, destinations such as scenic spots, relics, tourist attractions, entertainment venues... have also been bustling, bringing the spring atmosphere to everyone.

Local cultural identity at spring festivals

These days, in all 95 wards and communes across the province, the atmosphere of celebrating the Party and welcoming Spring is bustling with vibrant activities, imbued with the cultural identity of each locality, from urban areas to remote and border regions.

Especially this year, in the new context of implementing the two-tier local government model, economic conditions continue to face particular difficulties. However, thanks to the close guidance and direction from provincial leaders at all levels, departments, sectors, the business community, as well as agencies, units, and localities, solidarity and a strong sense of community responsibility have been upheld. As a result, spring celebration and Tet welcoming activities have been maintained and well organized.

Hoang Thuy Vu, Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee, shared: On the 25th day of the twelfth lunar month (February 12, 2026), the ward will open the Spring Flower Festival, along with a street food festival. Currently, more than 300 stalls featuring a wide variety of spring flowers from gardeners inside and outside the province are being set up at the March 23 Square. On New Year's Eve, the province will organize a cultural and artistic program to celebrate the new year, and the locality has also mobilized funds to set off fireworks at the moment of transition into the new year to serve the people. Also, during the first lunar month, Binh Phuoc Ward will host a lion-unicorn-dragon dance competition with the participation of lion-unicorn-dragon clubs from inside and outside the province. This competition attracts residents and tourists alike with its beautiful, captivating performances.

In 2026, Dong Nai province aims to welcome approximately 5.8 million visitors, an increase of 11.5 percent from 2025. Revenue from tourism services is estimated at about 4.5 trillion VND, up 15.3 percent from 2025.

Opportunities to explore cultural and spiritual destinations

Spring celebration activities across the province's localities have attracted large numbers of residents and visitors. Having an early Tet holiday, the family of Tran Thi Vui was already at their home in Tam Hiep ward, preparing for Tet, visiting the flower market, and taking part in local spring celebration activities from the first days of February 2026. Drawn to the ancestral altar decoration corners and chung cake wrapping activities at the ward's Spring Flower Festival, Vui shared: "I am very impressed with the display area featuring ancestral altar decorations by schools in Tam Hiep ward and the 'Four Sacred Animals Converge' model created from a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, conveying meaningful messages of luck and reunion at the beginning of the new Spring. Not only the Tet space in the ward, but also the flower streets and scenic sites such as Ong Pagoda, Tran Bien Temple of Literature..., my friends and I also visited to admire the scenery and take souvenir photos."

To serve residents celebrating spring and Tet, ecological tourism destinations and cultural and spiritual tourism sites across the province have made thorough preparations to welcome visitors. Among the well-known destinations are: Bu Gia Map National Park (NP), Cat Tien NP, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve; Phat Quoc Van Thanh Pagoda, Ong Pagoda, Gia Lao Pagoda - Chua Chan Mountain; War Zone D, and the special national relic site of the Headquarters of the Liberation Army of Southern Vietnam (Ta Thiet Base).

Do Truong Giang, Deputy Director of the Tourism Promotion and Conservation Rescue Center at Bu Gia Map National Park (Bu Gia Map commune), said that during the Lunar New Year holiday, the park will continue operating sightseeing tours to explore its forests and waterfalls. Several tour groups have registered for visits starting from the second day of Tet. At present, Bu Gia Map National Park continues to receive advance registrations from tour groups and is ready to welcome individual visitors for sightseeing, accommodation, and dining services during the Tet holiday.

Regarding activities serving visitors during Tet at Ta Thiet Base, Tong Van Truong of the Loc Thanh Commune General Service Center, the unit that manages Ta Thiet Base, said: During the Tet holiday, Ta Thiet Base will remain open throughout the holiday to serve locals and visitors coming for sightseeing. For visitors who wish to use accommodation and dining services, the unit also provides a hotel and culinary system to meet tourists’ needs.
