Buu Long Tourist Area kicks off Spring Festival to celebrate Tet 2026

On the morning of February 17 (the 1st day of Tet), Buu Long Tourist Area, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province, organized the opening ceremony of the spring festival to celebrate Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse 2026.

Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Tourist Area, said: From the 1st day of Tet, Buu Long Tourist Area opens its doors to welcome visitors to sightsee, visit pagodas at the beginning of the year, and enjoy entertainment activities. During Tet, the tourist area is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., continuously from the 1st to the 6th day of Tet. Especially, the tourist area not only keeps the ticket price unchanged (150,000 VND/adult), but also offers free entrance for all children under 1.4m tall.

To prepare for welcoming tourists to visit, take photos, and have fun during Tet 2026, Buu Long Tourist Area has prepared more than 30,000 pots of fresh flowers along with countless miniature landscapes for photography and check-in, which have been decorated and refreshed.

In addition, the tourist area also features special art programs "Radiant Spring Colors" from the 1st to the 6th day of Tet at the main stage within the tourist area. Especially on the 4th day of Tet, famous entertainers such as Tieu Minh Phung, Phuong Hang, etc., will perform at the tourist area. Moreover, Buu Long Tourist Area is also an attractive culinary destination with a rural market space, offering affordable prices, starting from only 5,000 VND (from the 2nd to the 6th day of Tet).

At the rural market, Buu Long Tourist Area will coordinate with the Provincial Chef Sub-Association to perform dishes to serve tourists such as: giant volcano fried rice on the 3rd day of Tet; giant Thang Co (simmer horse's meat and offals) on the 4th day of Tet; giant fried sticky rice wrapped chicken on the 5th day of Tet.

Buu Long Tourist Area is one of the most famous and oldest tourist areas in Dong Nai with nearly 40 years of operation. In addition to its impressive amusement facilities and natural spaces, Buu Long Tourist Area is also a spiritual destination for visitors, featuring numerous temples and shrines within the tourist area such as: Pho Hanh hermitage, Ba Thanh ancient temple, Thien Hau ancient temple, gilded Buddha statue, Thanh Hoang temple, God of Wealth mountain, Long Son Stone Cave.
