Buu Long Tourist Area offers unique cultural performances and culinary programs for 2026 New Year holiday

Representatives from Buu Long Tourist Area in Tran Bien ward announced that during the 2026 New Year holiday, the area will offer a variety of unique cultural and culinary programs to serve visitors who come to sightsee, enjoy local specialties, and stay overnight.

Specifically, during the holiday period from January 1st to 4th, 2026, Buu Long Tourist Area will host a range of unique cultural and culinary activities to cater to visitors. Traditional food stalls in the rural market area will offer dishes priced from only 5,000 to 50,000 VND and will operate daily. In particular, on January 1st, 2026, the tourist area's chefs will perform a demonstration of the giant Tan Trieu pomelo salad specialty from Dong Nai province and serve it to visitors free of charge.

In addition to daily variety shows featuring acoustic performances, don ca tai tu (Southern Vietnamese folk music), comedy, and animal circus acts, such as monkeys riding bicycles, grinding rice, pounding grain, carrying water across bridges, and acrobatics, Buu Long Tourist Area also presents a unique stone xylophone performance. This ancient instrument holds exceptional historical, cultural, and artistic value and was recognized as a national treasure in 2024.

Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Tourist Area, said: To serve tourists visiting and enjoying the 2026 New Year holiday, Buu Long Tourist Area has invested in more than 18,000 potted flowers of various types such as primroses, carnations, and petunias, while also renovating existing landscapes throughout the site. In addition to serving tourists, Buu Long Tourist Area also provides a venue at year-end for many businesses with large workforces to host their annual celebrations, with a maximum capacity of up to 300 banquet tables.

During holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year), Buu Long Tourist Area maintains the same ticket prices as on regular days: 150,000 VND per adult, 60,000 VND per child between 1 meter and 1.4 meters tall, and admission is free for children under 1 meter tall. With a single entrance ticket, visitors can enjoy more than 40 included attractions, including the children's swimming pool, Alpha World, Dinosaur Park, roller coaster, swing ride, 12D cinema, Ancient Citadel Secrets, reincarnation experience, zoo, butterfly garden, bird garden, and more.
