At the congress, Pham Huong Son, Chairman of Truong Tuoi Group and President of the Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club, was elected Chairman of the Dong Nai Tourism Association for the 2025–2030 term.
In his address, Chairman Pham Huong Son emphasized that Dong Nai is now standing before a “golden opportunity.” With large-scale infrastructure projects of international stature, such as Long Thanh International Airport, along with a comprehensive network of roads, sea, rail, and inland waterway systems connecting the province to major economic regions across the country, Dong Nai is “opening a wide gateway for multidimensional development.”
This milestone is a pivotal moment for the tourism industry to rise, leveraging geographical, cultural, and ecological strengths to become a hub of connectivity and a high-quality destination for the Southeast region and the entire country. Achieving this goal requires concerted efforts and mutual support among businesses, organizations, and individuals engaged in tourism and tourism services to fully promote the values, potential, and advantages of tourism in Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc urged the Dong Nai Tourism Association to promptly establish and stabilize its organizational structure, so that it can begin operations immediately after the congress. He emphasized that the provincial tourism association must truly serve as a common home, representing the business community, organizations, and individuals operating in the tourism sector; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members; and acting as a bridge between businesses and state agencies. He also called for promoting a spirit of self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and creative start-ups, while enhancing proactiveness and boldness in tourism development investment.
Association members need to strengthen linkages and cooperation, forming value-added chains of high-quality tourism services to grow together. At the same time, they should promote the application of scientific and technological advances in business operations and build strong brands to enhance the quality of tourism products, making them competitive in the market.
