According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, during the 4-day holiday celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (from August 30 to September 2), Dong Nai's tourism sector welcomed over 130,000 visitors for sightseeing and accommodation.

Of the more than 130,000 tourist arrivals in Dong Nai, about 3,500 were international visitors, up 19.2 percent compared to the September 2, 2024 holiday. Revenue from tourism services reached 85 billion VND, a 25 percent increase year-on-year. The average room occupancy rate during the holiday was 35 percent, while accommodation facilities in key tourism areas reported occupancy rates ranging from 70 to 100 percent.

Several tourist destinations attracted large crowds, including Buu Long Tourist Area in Tran Bien Ward with more than 20,000 visitors, Son Tien Tourist City in Long Hung Ward with 20,000 visitors, and Suoi Mo Park in Tan Phu Commune with 11,000 visitors. Forest ecotourism sites such as Cat Tien National Park, Bu Gia Map, and Thac Mai - Bau Nuoc Soi Ecotourism Area also drew significant numbers of tourists.

Tourism activities across the province took place in a lively and wholesome atmosphere, with security, order, and visitor safety well ensured. Most tourist sites and destinations renovated their landscapes, upgraded facilities, and introduced special features to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
