This is largely because bars and pubs have been closed for long stints in many places, with plenty of consumers choosing to purchase alcohol from the supermarket instead.
As a result, Ho Chi Minh City ranked sixth in the list with a pint of beer costing £0.74, equal to VND23,036.
Elsewhere, Freetown in Sierra Leone is the cheapest places to grab a pint, with drinks costing just £0.65, equivalent to VND20,235.
Rounding off the list of the top 10 cheapest cities for a pint include Antananarivo of Madagascar at £0.67, Lagos of Nigeria and Yangon of Myanmar both at £0.72, Tashkentof Uzbekistan at £0.75, Lome of Togo at £0.75, Maseru of Lesotho at £0.75, Lilongwe of Malawi at £0.76, and Dushanbe of Tajikistan at £0.78.
Meanwhile, London of the UK remains the most expensive place to grab a beer at around £5.50 a pint.
