In 2020, the province’s tourist revenue reduced by VND904 billion, a year-on-year fall of 43.5 percent. In 2021, Dong Nai will strive to attract some 3 million visitors to the province’s tourist areas, comprising 20,000 international visitors, 50 percent higher than those of 2020, and earn VND1.5 trillion in term of tourist turnover.
In the time coming, the province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will enhance the promotion activities and popularization of tourism to other provinces and cities, especially HCM city and neighboring localities. At the same time, the department will hold talks with investors and tourist companies to promptly work out for measures to remove difficulties for them.
