156 tourism establishments chosen to host people in quarantine

A total of 156 accommodation facilities nationwide have been selected as isolation zones until March 24 to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Organization.

 
 

 

A total of 156 accommodation facilities nationwide have been selected as isolation zones until March 24 to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Organization.

The selected establishments are based in 24 cities and provinces across the country, namely Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien-Hue, and Vinh Phuc.

Among the venues are hotels which range from one to five stars, with the majority offering discounted room rates, services, or the option of renting the entire hotel, as well as providing all facilities, in the fight against the COVID-19.

Room rates vary between VND50,000 to VND3,000,000 each night in the event that people in isolation have to pay a fee. 

In Hanoi, a total of three places have been selected, including the Hoa Binh hotel, the Thang Long Espana Hanoi hotel, and the Muong Thanh Xala hotel.

Elsewhere, in Ho Chi Minh City, nine facilities have been chosen, including the Small Brick Saigon hotel, the Sabina hotel and apartment complex, the Sabina hotel, the Nhat Hoang hotel, the city center for youth activities, the Holiday Inn & Hotel Suites Saigon Airport, the Can Gio resort, and the Bat Dat hotel.
