Cooperation agreement signed to implement smart tourism

(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Dong Nai Telecommunications on Friday held a workshop to introduce smart travel solutions and signed a cooperation agreement to implement smart tourism in the period of 2018-2023.

These solutions will help businesses provide customers with the best experience in a swift and economical manner.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dong Nai currently has 20 operating tourist areas and 125 tourism accommodation facilities with a total of over 3,000 rooms. The province has defined tourism as a key economic sector and its has made continuous efforts to develop tourism.

Under the agreement, Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Dong Nai Telecommunications will jointly build and deploy the master plan on applying information technology in tourism, such as creating smart travel website; enhancing the effectiveness of propaganda and popularization activities on electronic tourism; software and applications on tourism to serve tourists, etc.
