 Hoi An city has opened a new night market to meet visitors’ increasing demands for shopping options and help alleviate the crowds of tourists in the old quarter. 
Hoi An night markets become a hive of activity when the city lights are switched on after dusk. 
Along the banks of the Hoai river you can find souvenirs and handicraft products from Hoi An. 
Colourful lanterns and children’s toys are made by the skillful hands of Thanh Ha artisans. 
Silk products, food, and local specialties can be bought at the market. 
Visitors can wander through the ancient town to discover its unique cultural characteristics. 
Nguyen Hoang night market is held on the streets of An Hoi and Dong Hiep in Minh An ward, which was established in 2012. In its early days, Nguyen Hoang night market encountered difficulties as tourism services and activities were not yet established. 
In 2016, Hoi An city designated Nguyen Phuc Chu road as a pedestrian street. Since then, Nguyen Hoang night market has attracted a large number of tourists. |
