(ĐN) – Dong Nai’s tourism industry has greatly benefited from the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, with many tourist areas reporting a sharp rise in the number of tourists.
During the six days from February 16 to 21, Dong Nai's tourist areas received some 176,000 tourists, up nearly 27 percent over the same period last year.
Tourism revenues rose by an estimated 37 percent year-on-year to VND19.5 billion.
Around 60,000 visitors visited Buu Long tourist area in Bien Hoa city, a 40 percent rise.
Suoi Mo tourist area saw the number of tourists increase by 30 percent to 60,000.
Vuon Xoai (Mango Garden) Ecotourism Site also welcomed more than 30,000 visitors in this period.
