Stunning terraced rice fields in Hoang Su Phi
The rice fields built into the hillsides look like great chains or ribbons with different colours depending on the season.
Between April and June when local farmers take in water to prepare for planting a new crop, the area becomes busy with visitors coming to watch the breath-taking sights and learn about farmers' activities.
These fields belong to the farmers from the Red Dao and Nung ethnic groups who are making good lives from both farming and tourism.
