(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s tourist areas welcomed around 870,000 visitors in the first quarter of this year, earned some VND290 billion in revenues, a year-on-year increase of 18% and 45% respectively, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.
The destinations that lured the most tourists during the period were Suoi Mo tourist area in Tan Phu district, Vuon Xoai (Mango Garden) and Buu Long tourist area in Bien Hoa city, Bo Cap Vang (Golden Scorpion) ecological tourist area and Tre Viet tourist village in Nhon Trach district, Da Han and Giang Dien Waterfalls in Trang Bom district.
During the past time, the province’s tourist areas have invested hundreds of billion of dong to increase the quality of tourist services with the aim of attracting more visitors to the province.
