(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee, the province’s tourist areas welcomed 124,200 tourists during Tet (Lunar New Year), earned more than VND12 billion in revenues, increasing 27 percent in quantity and 39 percent in value compared to the same period last year.
In order to attract more visitors during Tet, local tourist areas focused on strengthening tourist promotion activities and increasing the quality of tourist services.
Particularly, Buu Long tourist area in Bien Hoa city received some 20,000 tourists; Giang Dien Waterfall in Trang Bom district saw up to almost 13,000 visitors; Vuon Xoai tourist area attracted around 25,000 tourists, Chua Chan mountain welcomed over 30,000 visitors.
Besides, other tourism destinations such as Da Han waterfall, Bo Cap Vang (Golden Scorpion) ecological tourist area, Cat Tien National Park’s Ecological Tourism Centre, Suoi Mo park also received a large number of visitors during the holidays.
